Now 15 years later, many are transitioning out of the military to civilian careers but are at an immense disadvantage, because they were overseas they did not develop the network and connections needed to find employment opportunities worthy of their world class skill sets. That’s where the COMMIT foundation comes in, they hold incredible 2-day workshops that pair 12 elite veterans with 12 C-level executives to develop relationships and foster opportunities that are fitting for their ray ban sale elite skill sets.
Formed by veterans, patriots and those with friends and family in service, the COMMIT Foundation was created to help military veterans better transition into life after duty.

The foundation is putting on their first “Pursuing Your Passion” workshop ON for inspired, talented US veterans in Austin, Texas, October 12th and 13th.
The event puts aspirational veterans in the same room as successful entrepreneurs and business owners. Mentor sessions and breakouts throughout the workshop cover important themes and questions when considering entrepreneurship. Highlights of Austin’s event include a fireside chat with American astronaut Tim Kopra and a keynote speech from Paralympic gold-medal winning swimmer and Afghanistan Navy vet, Brad Snyder.
In addition, several incredible mentors have chosen to volunteer their time and wisdom to the workshop and its attendees. Jen Easterly, Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Counterterrorism; Craig Cummings, Head of Corporate Development at the Moovel Group; Hans Erickson, CFO at Fractal Industries, Inc. and Guy Filippelli, President and CEO at RedOwl Analytics are among the ranks.

In 2015 HERO was in the process of relocating the company and the people at the COMMIT Foundation opened networks and homes to HERO, ultimately leading to our relocation to Austin, Texas, our access to a nationwide network of entrepreneurs and investors, as well as our acceptance into Techstars Mobility. Les Craig opened his network on an initial meeting in Montana and two days later, Navy SEAL Brad Snyder opened his home to our CEO Alex in Baltimore so that we could meet with customers, investors and mentors across the eastern seaboard.
